78 children transferred for adoption in Azerbaijan
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population (MLSPP) through the Agency of Social Services has transferred 78 children for adoption.
This is stated in a message from the Ministry of Labor on the occasion of May 31 - World Foster Family Day.
It is clarified that 34 boys and 44 girls were transferred to foster families.
It is noted that the MLSPP also makes monthly social payments to foster families. Thus, 355 manats per month are paid for children under 6 years old, 375 manats for children aged 7–13, and 395 manats for children aged 14–18. For children with disabilities, these amounts are 500, 600, and 650 manats respectively, depending on the age group.
In addition, in order to provide foster families with seasonal clothing, a one-time allowance of 200 manats is paid for each child quarterly.
