Pashinyan: the people of Armenia stood up to defend peace

The conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan has ended.

On June 16, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at a meeting of the National Assembly during the discussion of the approval of the annual report on the execution of the state budget for 2025.

“And, following the results of the 2026 elections, the people of Armenia stood up to defend peace,” noted the head of the Government. According to Pashinyan, the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan has already given a new impetus to economic development. “People should see economic growth in their daily lives. For this reason, I made the decision to increase pensions in Armenia,” the prime minister said.
