Farman Gasanov: 'I believe that victory will be ours'

"The opponent is a good and experienced fighter who mainly prefers to fight in stand-up.

As the correspondent of 1news.az reports, this was stated at the press conference before the UFC Fight Night Baku tournament by Azerbaijani UFC fighter Farman Gasanov.

"I know the opponent, and he knows me. Everything will become clear on June 26. I don't see the point in making someone my target.

Of course, I also want to develop step by step. This requires time and discipline. The weight category in which we are currently competing is one of the most competitive divisions in the UFC," he noted.

According to him, there are very strong opponents in the bouts, but the athletes focus more on themselves.

"Our goal is to become better every day than yesterday. This is the most important thing," the fighter concluded.

Note that the UFC tournament in Baku will take place on June 27 at the National Gymnastics Arena.
