Powerful magnetic storm begins on Earth

A strong magnetic storm of level G3 has begun on Earth, the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the Space Research Institute (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported.
"On Earth, with a delay of a day relative to the schedule, the strong magnetic storm of level G3 predicted two days ago has nevertheless begun. In the scale of the year, the storm is the third strongest after the very large event of January 19-21 of level G4.67 and the storm from March 21 of level G3," the laboratory said.
