Vugar Mustafayev and Selcuk Bayraktar discuss expansion of military-technical cooperation

Azerbaijan Minister of Defense Industry Vugar Mustafayev held a meeting with Baykar Chairman of the Board Selcuk Bayraktar, who is on a working visit to Azerbaijan, as well as with Turkish Ambassador to the country Birol Akgun.

As reported by the Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan, during the negotiations the parties discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in the defense sphere.

The meeting participants emphasized that the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Turkey continues to strengthen in various directions, including the defense industry.

Special attention was paid to the further expansion of interaction with the company Baykar. It was noted that joint projects and the introduction of modern technologies play an important role in the development of Azerbaijan's defense potential and the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.

In addition, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of military-technical cooperation and other issues of mutual interest.
