Ilham Aliyev: Life of a displaced person is already in the past

The life of a displaced person is already in the past, now you will live and create with pride on your native Karabakh land, take care of the elders, aksakals, children.

This was stated by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on July 11 during a meeting with residents who returned to the village of Kichik Galaderesi in the Shusha district.

"I congratulate you on returning to your native Karabakh land. I wish you health, you have lived for many years in different places with longing for your native land," the head of state said.

Ilham Aliyev recalled that two weeks ago we celebrated the Day of the Armed Forces: "Our glorious Army showed great heroism both in the Second Karabakh War and in the anti-terrorist operation, may Allah rest the souls of all our shehids."

The president noted that the village of Galaderesi was liberated 3 years ago – in September 2023: "I am confident that during the time from the Second Karabakh War to the anti-terrorist operation, the people who lived then in the occupied territories also hoped that the day would come when we would return to these lands."
