Saliba played six matches at the World Cup. He was substituted in the first half of the semifinal against the Spain national team, in which France lost 0:2. In the third-place match, the France national team will play against the England team. The game will take place on July 19 and start at 22:00 Moscow time.

The 25-year-old player plays for London’s Arsenal. In the 2025/2026 season, he became the champion of England and reached the Champions League final.
