Guests at French embassy holiday reception in Yerevan hospitalized with poisoning
Several guests of the festive event at the French embassy in Armenia ended up in the hospital with poisoning.
July 14 at the embassy marked France's National Holiday - Bastille Day, to which a large number of guests were invited, including political and public figures, diplomats, and others.
A few hours after the event, many guests sought medical help with symptoms of an intestinal infection.
The event and buffet, which also served canapes with seafood, took place outdoors in terrible heat. The buffet was provided by the Marriott restaurant.
It is noted that among the guests of the event were Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, Deputy Minister of Health Lena Nanushyan, Deputy Minister of Defense Arman Sarkisyan, Chief of the General Staff Eduard Asryan, Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Levon Hovannisyan, and others.
