In Tehran warned the US about a 'warm welcome' during a ground operation

Residents of Iranian islands are ready to give American soldiers a "warm welcome" in case of the start of a ground operation in Iran.

This was stated by a representative of the Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic, Esmail Bagai.

"I think that there are many people there who are waiting to arrange a 'warm welcome' [to American soldiers]," he replied to US threats regarding the capture of Khark Island.
