Media: alleged Epstein accomplice found dead in France

Modeling agent Daniel Siad, who is suspected in France of collaborating with American financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of pedophilia, was found dead at his home in the commune of Colombes near Paris.

This was reported by the BFMTV channel.

The cause of death has not been disclosed. An investigation is underway.

The 69-year-old Algeria-born Siad, who also holds Swedish citizenship, was known in the fashion world as a modeling agent. However, in 2026 the France Televisions television company published an investigation according to which Siad hired at least four French women for Epstein. One of them claimed during police questioning that she had been in sexual slavery for several years and could not leave the mansion in central Paris. The newspaper Liberation, in turn, claimed that he hired models for Epstein around the world.

Siad denied all accusations against him in conversations with journalists. Nevertheless, in an interview with BFMTV in May 2026, he admitted that he had introduced women to the American financier and stated his readiness to appear in court. However, since then he has never been summoned for questioning by law enforcement agencies.

Epstein was detained by New York state law enforcement on July 6, 2019. The prosecutor's office stated that there was evidence that in 2002-2005 he organized visits to his Manhattan home by dozens of underage girls, the youngest of whom was 14 years old. Epstein's circle of friends and acquaintances included a large number of current and former officials not only from the United States but also from many other countries (including former heads of state), major entrepreneurs, and show business stars. Criminal prosecution of the financier in his homeland was terminated after his suicide in a prison cell in August 2019.
