Wildberries lost 8% of logistics space due to drone attacks

In July 2026, as a result of drone attacks, Wildberries marketplace warehouse complexes with a total area of 552 thousand square meters were damaged.

Four large facilities require full restoration, which amounts to 8% of the company's total logistics space.

As calculated by the publication Kommersant, the centers in Elektrostal near Moscow, Kotovsk, Krasnodar, and Nevinnomyssk were hit. Director of the warehouse and industrial real estate department at Remain Alexander Fedorov estimates the cost of the damaged buildings at 60 billion rubles (1 304 702 400 AZN), while the construction of a similar volume of new warehouses would cost 35.5 billion rubles (769 558 350 AZN). The loss of the southern and Moscow mega-hubs is critical for import flows and trunk cargo, since the central region alone accounts for up to half of all consumer demand.

Real estate market experts emphasize that renting third-party premises is complicated by a shortage of available space, the level of which in the Krasnodar Territory at the end of 2025 was only 1.6%. Head of the warehouse department at Invest7 Alexander Perfiliev calls the restoration of the facilities the fastest solution, recalling that the company acted in a similar way after the fire at the warehouse in Shushary in early 2022.
