Stupid organization: Rubio sharply spoke out about the ICC

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio at a press conference in Manila as part of ministerial events of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) stated that Washington does not intend to become a participant in the International Criminal Court (ICC), calling this organization "stupid".

Rubio emphasized that the States have never signed an agreement to join the ICC. According to him, other states can join the organization at their discretion, however, the US does not intend to do this, and the jurisdiction of the court does not extend to American citizens.

The head of the American foreign policy department also stated that Washington does not intend to put up with any attempts by the International Criminal Court to take any measures against US citizens both now and in the future.

In mid-July, Rubio promised to "eliminate" the ICC and called on other countries to join this campaign. The head of American diplomacy accused the ICC of waging war against the US using the "force of so-called international law" and called on other states to withdraw from the court's jurisdiction.
