US suspected Russia of helping Iran during attacks
American intelligence is studying whether Russia could have helped Iran during drone attacks on US Central Intelligence Agency facilities in Persian Gulf countries.
Four informed sources told Reuters about this.
According to them, there are no final conclusions regarding Moscow's possible involvement yet, however, analysts drew attention to the accuracy of the strikes and the military-technical support that Russia had previously provided to Iran.
American officials had previously confirmed that Moscow could have helped Tehran during attacks on US targets in the region, in particular providing support in the field of targeting. At the same time, an investigation into possible Russian assistance specifically in strikes on CIA facilities had not been publicly reported before.
