Famous translator and researcher Ian Peart passes away

Ian Peart (Ian Peart) — British translator and literary scholar has passed away

This was reported by the owner of the publishing house “Qanun” Shahbaz Khuduoglu:

“Ian Peart, who provided invaluable services to Azerbaijani culture, has passed away.
Ian devoted about thirty years of his life to popularizing Azerbaijani culture in the world. The books he translated, the articles he wrote, and the work he did were an expression of his love for this country.
I express my deep condolences to his daughter Narmine, son-in-law Omar, close friend Sean, and all who loved Ian.
The memory of him will live in the hearts of those who knew him and in his services to Azerbaijani culture”.
