Five foreign climbers die on Elbrus

Five of the seven climbers who were ascending Elbrus died.

According to Russian media, all members of the group were citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It is reported that only two climbers survived. One of them descended the mountain on his own and called for help, while rescuers provided assistance to the second. Both victims have been hospitalized.

According to media reports, the foreign climbers were ascending Elbrus independently, without the accompaniment of a professional guide.
