Air temperature in Baku rises to 39 degrees Celsius

The maximum air temperature in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula reached 39 degrees Celsius on July 25.

This was reported by the National Hydrometeorological Service.

According to the forecasters' summary as of 10:00 on Sunday, weather without precipitation was observed across the republic.

The day before, gusts of south-easterly wind in Khachmaz reached 25 m/s. In Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, in the Nakhchivan AR and lowland areas, the air temperature rose to 39, in mountainous areas - to 29 degrees Celsius.
