Three children die in Makhachkala due to gas poisoning
Three children died in Makhachkala as a result of household gas poisoning.
As reported by Russian media, this was announced by the prosecutor's office of the Republic of Dagestan (RF).
According to preliminary data, on July 25, in a house on Buglenskaya Street, the children, left unsupervised, opened a gas valve located in a place accessible to them. As a result, they died from gas poisoning.
During the investigation, the prosecutor's office will establish the circumstances of the incident and assess compliance with legal requirements in the operation of gas equipment, as well as ensuring the safety of minors.
Based on the facts, a criminal case has been opened for causing death by negligence, which provides for up to four years of imprisonment.
