Meteorologists warn of strong winds in Azerbaijan
The National Hydrometeorological Service has issued yellow and orange warnings in connection with the strong winds expected in Azerbaijan on July 27-28.
According to meteorologists, in the Nakhchivan AR, Gadabay, Goygol, Shamkir, Samukh, Yevlakh, Barda, Tartar, Aghdam, Fizuli, Jabrayil, Zangilan, Lachin, Kalbajar, Guba, Siyazan, Khizi, Altiaghaj, Imishli, Shirvan, Beylagan, Saatly, Sabirabad, Salyan, Bilasuvar, Jalilabad, Masally, Lerik, Yardymly, Lankaran, Astara in accordance with the yellow warning the speed of the northwesterly wind will be 13.9 - 20.7 m/s.
In Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, in Mingachevir, Agstafa, Gazakh, Tovuz, Ganja, Dashkasan, Goranboy, Gobustan, Neftchala, Hajigabul, Naftalan, Khachmaz, Gusar, Shabran in accordance with the orange warning gusts of northwesterly wind will reach 20.8-28.4 m/s.
