SEC publishes the results of admission to master's programs

Azerbaijan's State Examination Center (SEC) has published the results of the competition for admission to master's programs at higher education institutions for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Applicants can find out the results on the SEC's official website, as well as via SMS: to do so, they must send the seven-digit code indicated in the specialty selection application to the short number 7727 through the operators Azercell, Bakcell, or Nar.

The list of admitted students will be published tomorrow afternoon in the fifth issue of the journal "Magistr."

A total of 15,721 bachelor's degree holders took part in the specialty selection competition, of whom 13,845 were admitted to master's programs. A total of 6,580 students will study under the state order, another 52 people fully at the state's expense, and 7,213 on a paid basis. Among those admitted, 10,510 are graduates of the current year and 3,335 of previous years.

Those admitted must complete electronic registration on the my.gov.az portal from 3:00 p.m. on August 3 until 6:00 p.m. on August 12. Failure to register will be considered a refusal to study, after which the applicant will be removed from the list of admitted students.

The SEC will announce separately the dates of the additional distribution for the remaining vacant places.
