Polish prime minister says a Russian missile fell on the country's territory

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk commented on the fall of an unidentified object in eastern Poland.

According to him, it was probably a Russian missile.

He specified that this information has not yet been confirmed.

"Everything indicates that it was a Russian Kh-101 ballistic missile, but we want to be 100% certain about the type of missile and about who launched it," Tusk said at an emergency meeting.

Polish military personnel detected an unidentified flying object in their airspace last night.

According to preliminary data, it fell in an uninhabited area near the village of Tarnawa-Kolonia in the Lublin Voivodeship. A crater 10 meters in diameter was found at the site of the fall, the TVP Info television channel specifies. A Mi-24 helicopter was sent to the site, and the Polish prime minister also traveled there. There is no information about casualties.
