OSCE chairperson-in-office to visit Azerbaijan
Swiss Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs Ignazio Cassis will visit Azerbaijan on an official visit as the Chairperson-in-Office of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
This is reported by Report with reference to the Swiss Foreign Ministry.
According to the information, during the visit to Azerbaijan, Cassis will hold negotiations on issues of bilateral relations, the peace process in the South Caucasus, as well as the role of the Swiss OSCE chairmanship in the region.
After Azerbaijan, the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office will visit Turkmenistan. The dates of the visit to Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan are August 4–5.
It is noted that the trip of the federal minister will be the first stage of a regional tour, which will continue in the fall with visits to Armenia and Georgia.
