British ambassador congratulates Azerbaijan on alphabet and language day by reading poem by Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh
The Azerbaijani language is a valuable heritage that passes on the rich history, culture and national identity of the Azerbaijani people from generation to generation.
This was stated by British Ambassador to Baku Duncan Norman in his congratulatory video address on the social network X on the occasion of the Day of the Azerbaijani Alphabet and Language.
Azərbaycan dili xalqınızın zəngin tarixini, mədəniyyətini və milli kimliyini nəsildən-nəslə ötürən qiymətli irsidir.

«Marking this significant day, I am confident that the Azerbaijani language and literature will continue to remain a source of inspiration for future generations as well», the diplomat said, having read an excerpt from the poem «Ana dili» by Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh.
