Students will be able to apply for a loan starting tomorrow

From August 3, the Student Educational Loans Fund will open applications for the fall semester of the 2026/2027 academic year through the e-ttkf.edu.az portal.

The State Agency for Science and Higher Education reports this.

Applications can be submitted by students admitted to master's programs based on the results of the entrance competition of the State Examination Center for the 2026-2027 academic year, as well as by second-year and senior students of higher education institutions, secondary specialized, and vocational educational institutions. Applications for first-year bachelor's students will open after the completion of specialty selection.

Students admitted to master's programs will also be able to apply for an educational student loan simultaneously with registration through portal.edu.az.

The following minimum scores are set for obtaining a standard educational student loan for the first semester of the first academic year:

  • sub-bachelor's - 110 points, for specialties requiring special abilities - 40 points;
  • bachelor's - 250 points, for specialties requiring special abilities - 100 points;
  • master's - 50 points, for specialties requiring special abilities - 30 points;

for those admitted based on SAT results - at least 1,200 points;

for technical vocational and higher technical vocational education programs - an average certificate score of at least 3.

The minimum passing scores apply only to standard educational student loans. No minimum passing score is required for social educational student loans.

Students admitted to bachelor's and sub-bachelor's programs in the 2026-2027 academic year will be able to apply for an educational student loan after completing specialty selection and registration at the educational institution.
