Tragedy and rescue in Bilgah: one person drowned, three were saved
An accident at sea occurred in the settlement of Bilgah in Baku's Sabunchu district, as a result of which one person drowned and three were rescued.
As Report informs, citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), the drowning incident took place in an area not equipped for swimming, approximately one kilometer from the nearest rescue station.
Diver-rescuers of the State Service for Small Vessels Control and Water Rescue were involved in the search operation. As a result of the search, the body of Niyaz Pirmammadov (born in 2005) was found, retrieved from the water, and handed over as appropriate.
At the same time, thanks to the prompt action of the MES divers in Bilgah, three young men were rescued from the sea: Mahabbat Fataliyev (born in 2001), Sahil Mustafayev (born in 2000), and Elbrus Jalalov (born in 2001).
