A 15-year-old soccer player was shot dead during a match in Brazil

Mikael Leandro da Silva, a player for the youth team of Centro Sportivo Alagoano, died after a shooting during a friendly match in the Brazilian city of Maceió.

The 15-year-old athlete, who previously played for the youth team of São Paulo, died in the hospital.

It is noted that the shooting occurred because of clashes between local groups linked to drug trafficking. Several people were injured during the incident.
