Implementation of the line separation project begins in the Baku metro - VIDEO

The main stage of construction under the project to separate the Red and Green lines of the Baku Metro will begin on August 15.

This was reported to 1news.az by the Baku Metro CJSC.

Information about the goals of the project, the upcoming works, the regulation of public transport traffic during the construction period, as well as the advantages of the line separation for passengers is presented in a video presentation.

The construction work will take 10-11 months. During this period, trains heading toward the "Darnagul" station will run to "Nizami" and back.

"The line separation project is not a choice but a strategic necessity for the future development of the Baku Metro," the company emphasized.
