A mine exploded in the Kalbajar district
In Azerbaijan's Kalbajar district, liberated from occupation, a mine exploded, as a result of which a local resident was injured.
According to a joint statement by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General's Office, and ANAMA, the incident occurred in an area that had not been demined.
Kamran Shukur oglu Suleymanov, born in 1953, a resident of the village of Gaynag in the Tartar district, sustained injuries while grazing livestock in an area where demining work had not previously been carried out.
The Kalbajar District Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the incident.
ANAMA, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Prosecutor General's Office once again called on citizens to observe safety measures in territories where the mine threat persists. In particular, citizens are advised to pay attention to warning signs, not to approach suspicious objects, and not to enter unfamiliar and unchecked areas.
