Strong wind expected in Azerbaijan tomorrow — WARNING
On August 16, strong wind is expected in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in a number of districts of Azerbaijan.
As 1news.az reports, the National Hydrometeorology Service has declared yellow and orange warning levels in this regard.
According to the yellow warning, a northwesterly wind will blow in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula. In the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Jabrayil, Zangilan, Fuzuli, Aghdam, Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Tartar, Barda, Jalilabad, Bilasuvar, Gadabay, Goygol, Aghstafa, Ganja, Tovuz, Shamkir, Samukh, Gazakh, Beylagan, Shirvan, Salyan, Gobustan, Imishli, Saatly, Sabirabad, Neftchala, Hajigabul, Khachmaz, Siyazan, Shabran, Guba, Khizi and Gusar, an easterly wind with a speed of 13.9-20.7 m/s is expected.
In Goranboy, Naftalan and Dashkasan, an orange warning level has been declared. There, an easterly wind with a speed of up to 20.8-28.4 m/s is expected.
