A large-scale citywide cleanup day was held in Baku: utility services washed 556 streets

Today, August 15, the Executive Power of the city of Baku held a large-scale citywide cleanup day aimed at improving the level of sanitary cleaning in the capital and caring for green spaces.

This was reported to 1news.az by the city's Executive Power.

From early morning, special equipment of the utility services washed 556 main streets and avenues of the capital using detergents that are harmless to plants and animals. The compounds used are absolutely safe and are widely applied in world practice.

In parallel with the washing of the roads, comprehensive landscaping and territory cleaning work was carried out in all districts of the city.
A pleasant continuation of the environmental campaign will be an evening cultural program for residents and guests of the capital, organized by the city and district administrations. Starting at 7:00 p.m., free open-air concerts will be held in popular recreation spots.

Musical performances will take place in the Nizami Ganjavi Park of the Khatai district, in the amphitheater of the park near the "Ganjlik" metro station in the Narimanov district, in the Forest Park of the Yasamal district, as well as in the Heydar Aliyev Park of the Nizami district and in the Central Botanical Garden.
