Azerbaijan foreign ministry expresses condolences to Indonesia over earthquake

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan expressed deep condolences to Indonesia in connection with the devastating earthquake that resulted in human casualties and destruction.

"We express deep condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased and wish a speedy recovery to the injured," the foreign ministry's publication on the social network X says. The MFA also emphasized that in this difficult period Azerbaijan shares the pain of the people and government of Indonesia.

Recall that a powerful earthquake of magnitude 7.7 occurred off the coast of Indonesia, leading to large-scale destruction and casualties among the population.

We are deeply saddened by the news of the devastating earthquake in Indonesia, which resulted in loss of life and injuries.

We extend deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.
