Iran promises a $30,000 reward for each U.S. soldier

The chief of the General Staff of the Iranian army, Amir Hatami, has promised a monetary reward for each American serviceman killed or taken prisoner.

As Oxu.Az reports, citing the Fars agency, the payment will amount to 30,000 dollars for one U.S. Armed Forces soldier. According to Hatami, the funds for the reward will be raised by the Iranian people.

Previously, Iran had already come forward with similar initiatives regarding the top leadership of other countries. In particular, deputy Ibrahim Azizi announced a parliamentary bill providing for a reward of 50 million euros for the elimination of U.S. President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and the head of the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), Admiral Brad Cooper.
