Azerbaijan's Finance Ministry updates its average annual inflation forecast

Average annual inflation in Azerbaijan in 2026 is expected at 5.7%, compared with the previously forecast 4.8%.

As Report informs, this is stated in the "Note on the semiannual execution of the state and consolidated budgets for 2026 and expectations for the end of the year" published by the Ministry of Finance.

According to the document, the average annual inflation forecast was raised taking into account the actual level of inflation for the elapsed period of the current year, global prices for goods and food and their impact on import prices, as well as changes in regulated tariffs for goods and services and other factors.
