Ukraine thanks Azerbaijan for help in ensuring the operation of the country's energy system
Ukraine has expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for providing assistance in the form of energy equipment as part of support for the country's energy system.
Ukraine's Ministry of Energy thanked Azerbaijan and other international partners for their assistance in a statement published on the ministry's official page on the social network X.
"Since the beginning of 2026, assistance in the form of energy equipment has been provided by partners from the EU, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Slovakia, the USA, Turkey, Finland, France, the Philippines, Switzerland, Sweden, Japan, the Czech Republic, Poland, Cyprus, China, as well as UNICEF/WASH, IOM, PFRU and VOLVO," the statement said.
The ministry noted that since March 2022, under the coordination of Ukraine's Ministry of Energy, 2,542 humanitarian deliveries of energy equipment with a total weight of more than 32,300 tons have arrived in the country. Of this volume, more than 28,900 tons of equipment have already been distributed among the regions.
"We are deeply grateful to all our partners for their help in ensuring the operation of Ukraine's energy system," Ukraine's Ministry of Energy emphasized.
