Former England national team footballer Raheem Sterling faces prison
Four-time English champion and former England national team forward Raheem Sterling could receive a two-year prison sentence.

According to the source, the player is accused of dangerous driving. He has also been charged with possession of nitrous oxide and refusing to provide specimens for testing.
Sterling is 31 years old, and since 2026 he has been playing for the Dutch club Feyenoord. Previously, he was a player for Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester City, with whom he won the English championship four times, the League Cup five times, and the FA Cup once. With the England national team, the player became a silver medalist at the European Championship in 2021 and a bronze medalist in the Nations League in 2019.
