Rain, with showers and thunderstorms in places, expected tomorrow in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula

Tomorrow, rain is expected in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, taking on a heavy shower character in places.

Thunderstorms are possible in some parts of the peninsula, and in the evening hours intense and short-lived precipitation is expected. Forecasters predict a gusty northwesterly wind. During the night hours the air temperature will be between 20 and 23 degrees above zero, while during the day the thermometers will drop to 24-26 degrees above zero. Atmospheric pressure has been recorded at 761 mm of mercury, and relative air humidity will fluctuate within the range of 70-80%.

Unfavorable weather conditions are also expected in the regions of Azerbaijan, where rain will fall, turning into heavy showers in places, with thunderstorms and hail forecast. In the night and morning hours, fog is possible in some mountainous areas, and the easterly wind will strengthen at times. The air temperature in the districts will be 18-23 degrees above zero at night and 25-29 degrees above zero during the day, while in the mountains 11-16 degrees above zero is expected at night and 19-24 degrees above zero during the day.
