Ilham Aliyev congratulated the president of Trinidad and Tobago
President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of congratulations to President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago Christine Carla Kangaloo on the occasion of the country's national holiday — Independence Day.

In his message, the head of state noted:
"Dear Madam President,
On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I cordially congratulate you and, through you, your entire people on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago — Independence Day — and extend my very best wishes.
I believe that the relations between Azerbaijan and Trinidad and Tobago, in line with the interests of our peoples, will continue to develop in the spirit of friendship and cooperation both bilaterally and multilaterally.
On this festive day, I wish you sound health and success in your work, and your people lasting peace and prosperity."
