Workers at a Romanian defense enterprise stage a protest
About 200 employees of the Carfil defense enterprise, which manufactures drones, in the city of Brasov have stopped work and staged a protest over unpaid wages.
This was reported by the portal Profit.ro.
The workers gathered outside the enterprise building and put forward 10 demands to management. Among them are the payment of an advance for August, the payment of promised bonuses, social assistance and pension benefits, as well as the cancellation of the shortened workweek.
The company's general director, Mircea Petru Tantau, urged employees to be patient for another two months, until the enterprise is able to obtain new orders. At the same time, the portal notes that during the protest the head of the company was on vacation.
