Shavkat Mirziyoyev to visit Serbia next week
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Serbia on September 7-8.
As 1news.az reports, this was announced by the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.
"Top-level talks will be held in Belgrade, as well as a business forum with the participation of representatives of official and business circles of the two countries," the statement said.
According to the press service, special attention will be paid to increasing trade, economic, and investment cooperation, and to the implementation of joint projects in such priority areas as transport, mechanical engineering, light and food industries, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and information technology.
In addition, issues of establishing cooperation in the field of organized labor migration and expanding interregional and cultural-humanitarian ties will also be considered.
"Following the talks, it is planned to adopt a solid package of intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements," the press service of the President of Uzbekistan emphasized.
