Wind to strengthen in some regions of Azerbaijan – WARNING
In connection with the windy weather expected from September 7 to the morning of September 8 in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in some regions of Azerbaijan, yellow and orange warnings have been announced.
This was reported by 1news.az with reference to the National Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
In Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in Aghstafa, Gazakh, Tovuz, Shamkir, Samukh, Ganja, Dashkesan, Goranboy, Naftalan, Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Barda, Terter, Aghdam, Balaken, Zagatala, Gakh, Sheki, Oghuz, Gabala, Goychay, Ujar, Gusar, Khachmaz, Shabran, Siyazan, Khizi, Gobustan, Hajigabul and Neftchala, in accordance with the orange warning, gusts of the northwestern wind may reach 20.8-28.4 m/s.
In Gadabay, Goygol, Sharur, Sadarak, Guba, Salyan, Shirvan, Sabirabad, Saatly, Jabrayil, Zangilan, Kalbajar, Lachin, Fuzuli, Beylagan, Imishli, Kurdamir, Aghsu, Shamakhi, Ismayilli, Zardab, Aghdash, Aghjabadi and Khojavend, in accordance with the yellow warning, the maximum speed of the northwestern wind will be 13.9-20.7 m/s.
