Axios: Witkoff and Kushner want a breakthrough in talks before winter

U.S. President's special envoy Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner told Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy that they want to achieve a breakthrough in negotiations on ending the Russian-Ukrainian war before winter.

As 1news.az reports, this was announced by the Axios portal, citing sources.

According to them, Witkoff and Kushner also discussed with Zelenskyy Ukraine's preparations for conducting military operations during the winter period.

Earlier, a White House representative told Reuters that Witkoff and Kushner discussed in Moscow "plans for further actions, which will be announced in the coming weeks."
