Who is the new chairman of the board of the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund? — DOSSIER
On September 7, by order of the head of state, Osman Khaliyev was appointed to the post of chairman of the board of the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund.
Osman Khaliyev was born in 1985 in the city of Sumgayit.
In 2007, he graduated from the "General Economics" faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics with a degree in "Economic Cybernetics."
In 2010, he completed a master's degree at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics with a specialization in "Management Information Technologies."
In 2012-2014, he studied in the MBA program at Brandeis University (USA).
In 2010-2011, he worked as an operations specialist at Access Bank CJSC, and in 2011-2012, as a specialist at the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In 2014-2015, he held the position of consultant at the company Global Atlantic Partners LLC, located in Boston (USA).
In 2016-2020, he held the positions of business development manager and director at a number of companies operating in the fields of agriculture and the food industry.
In November 2020, he was appointed adviser to the chairman of the board of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
From June 1, 2021, he served as acting deputy chairman of the board of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
On November 15, 2022, by order of Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, Osman Khaliyev was appointed chairman of the board of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund.
