Pashinyan does not consider Russian gas cheap

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that he does not consider Russian gas cheap, and noted the need to diversify the energy sector.

The Armenian premier noted that "from the border to the end consumer, compared with other countries, Armenia has the highest pricing."

"There is no area in which we will not pursue diversification. Our political decision is that we will develop our independence and statehood," Pashinyan stated, adding that the company Gazprom Armenia operates at a profit.
