Representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan visited a sewing factory in Khankendi on September 11.
As AZERTAC reports, the diplomats were provided with detailed information about the enterprise.
It was noted that the establishment of the sewing factory in Khankendi was carried out on the basis of the instructions of the presidents of the two countries on deepening economic and investment cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
The Azerbaijani-Uzbek joint venture not only creates new opportunities for the development of light industry in our country, but also serves the development of traditional friendly ties and economic partnership between the two countries.
The initial investment value of the project is 6 million manats. Joint industrial cooperation is being carried out for the supply of raw materials to the factory. The enterprise operates on the basis of local raw materials, as well as raw materials from Turkey, Uzbekistan and China.
