Ukrainian drones struck facilities in Taganrog and Tolyatti - VIDEO

On the night of September 12, Ukraine's Defense Forces attacked industrial facilities with drones in the cities of Tolyatti in the Samara region and Taganrog in the Rostov region.

Following the drone strikes, fires broke out at the aforementioned facilities.

According to preliminary information from monitoring resources, the KuibyshevAzot chemical plant, one of the largest producers of chemical products in Russia, may have been hit in Tolyatti. The enterprise produces, in particular, ammonia, urea, ammonium nitrate, caprolactam, and polyamide.
Some of these products are used in industry, and the chemical components may be significant for the Russian military-industrial complex.

Meanwhile, in Taganrog, according to OSINT analysts from ASTRA, one of the columns of smoke was rising from the direction of the "Taganrog-Central" military airfield. Russia's 708th Military Transport Aviation Regiment is based there.

The 325th Aircraft Repair Plant, which repairs transport aircraft and produces components for them, is also located nearby.
In the morning, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the destruction of one Russian combat aircraft. There are no details about this strike yet. The aircraft was likely destroyed during the attack on the airfield in Taganrog.
Satellite data recorded another fire on the territory of the Taganrog Automobile Plant (TagAZ), where a storage tank may have caught fire.

It is noted that the territory of the bankrupt car plant is now used for various industrial and military needs. In particular, there have been reports of the sites being used to assemble attack drones.
