Belarus plans to begin joint construction with Azerbaijan of an agro-town in Karabakh in 2027.

Dmitry Pinevich, Belarus' ambassador to Azerbaijan, who is visiting the Karabakh region as part of a delegation of the foreign diplomatic corps, told Report about this.

According to him, design work is currently underway on the agro-town, which will also include a number of agro-industrial complexes.

"We will complete the design of the agro-town along with some agro-industrial complexes in 2027. And if all goes well, we plan to begin joint construction there in 2027," the diplomat noted.

Dmitry Pinkevich also reported that in 2027 it is planned to set up joint production of elevators in Aghdam with the participation of the Belarusian company "Vertus."

"In 2027, in Aghdam, we also plan to set up joint production of Azerbaijani-made elevators with the participation of the Belarusian side — the company 'Vertusgulnar,'" the ambassador said.
