Yemen reports hundreds of victims of Houthi attacks

Since September 3, Houthi attacks in the provinces of Taiz, Hodeidah, and Marib have killed 150 civilians, with more than 200 others wounded.

This was announced by Yemen's Ministry of Legal Affairs and Human Rights.

The agency also reported that since the start of the escalation of the conflict, the number of internally displaced persons in the country has reached 85,818.

In addition, attacks on and the looting of the headquarters of international organizations, residential buildings, and government institutions were recorded in those provinces during this period. There are also reports of abductions of journalists, civil servants, and officials, extrajudicial executions, and attacks on the wounded at medical facilities.

In this connection, the ministry called on the international community, in particular the UN, to take immediate measures to halt attacks on the civilian population and to protect internally displaced persons, camps, evacuation convoys, and medical facilities.
