On September 15, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye Hakan Fidan.

According to AZERTAC, Hakan Fidan conveyed the greetings of President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the head of our state.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed gratitude for the greetings and asked that his greetings be conveyed to Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

During the conversation, the successful development of Azerbaijani-Turkish fraternal relations and strategic alliance in all areas was emphasized, and the further strengthening of cooperation on the basis of the principle of "one nation, two states" was noted with satisfaction.

The importance of cooperation in the energy sphere was touched upon, and views were exchanged on new ways of entering international markets in the field of alternative energy.

The significance of our countries from a logistical point of view, including their role as an important bridge between Europe and Asia, was emphasized, and the importance of coordinating activities within the framework of international organizations was noted.

At the meeting, views were exchanged on the prospects of bilateral relations, regional issues and other topics of mutual interest.
