Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, is on a working visit to China to take part in the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum.
According to the press service of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense, Z. Hasanov visited the production base of the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC), where he met with Director General Chen Shaoyan and familiarized himself with various defense systems.
As part of the visit, the Azerbaijani minister met with his Chinese counterpart, Admiral Dong Jun.
The meeting discussed the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between the two countries in the military, military-technical, and military-educational spheres, as well as issues of international security and stability.
