Is the Baku Olympic Stadium ready for the Champions League? UEFA is coming for an inspection

Representatives of UEFA will conduct an inspection of the Baku Olympic Stadium this week.

According to information obtained by AZERTAC, the inspection will assess the stadium's readiness for international matches and its compliance with UEFA requirements.

Intensive work to restore the pitch at the stadium began in early September. It is reported that the arena will be fully ready by the end of this month, at the latest by October 5.

Let us recall that the Baku Olympic Stadium will host 4 home matches of Sabah in the league phase of the Champions League. The champion of Azerbaijan will play its first home match of the league phase on October 13. Its opponent in the second round will be the Czech club Slavia.
