Georgia deports 78 foreigners, including citizens of Azerbaijan
Georgian authorities have deported 78 foreign citizens from the country, among them citizens of Azerbaijan
As 1news.az reports citing Report, this was announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
According to the ministry, employees of the Migration Department, together with other units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, have carried out a number of operations in recent days to identify foreign citizens subject to deportation.
As a result, citizens of India, Turkey, Egypt, Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, Kyrgyzstan, Ethiopia, Jordan, Sri Lanka and other countries were deported from Georgia.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia noted that in accordance with
the law, the deported individuals are banned from entering the country.
